Full-Tilt-꽁머니 환전-FTOPS-9-Event 21

Tempers flared and four-letter words flew as the often infuriating game of Razz was played during Event 21 of Full Tilt’s Online Poker Series.  577 player created a prize pool of 꽁머니 nearly $175,000 in the $300+22 buy-in tournament.  In the end it was player “TheFatFISH” who took home the title and more than $40,000 in prize money.

TheFatFISH is High-Stakes MTT player Andy McLeod, a player certainly used to being at big tournament Final Tables. Two weeks prior to this victory McLeod finished 4th in the PokerStars Sunday Million earning over $75,000.  He has won the Sunday Mulligan on Full Tilt and the 109rebuy on PokerStars in the past 12 months.

Stuart Patterson finished in 46th and was the sole Full Tilt Representative making the money.  The game of Razz does not attract the typical high-stakes NL crowd however it does bring in a lot of Mixed-Game specialists.  One high-stakes player “ChrisChun” finished 25th and took home over $1,000 for his efforts.  High-stakes MTT professional “Armen13″ also cahsed, bringing in just over $900 for his 35th place finish.

It will be extremely tough to top the talent that made it to the final table of Event 14 of FTOPS IX. The $535 H.O.R.S.E event saw some of the most talented players online work their way through a stacked field, as well as some of the very best falling just short of the final table. The guarantee for Event 14 was set at $300,000. However, with 655 players participating, the prize pool jumped up to $327,500.

Steve Zolotow had the best performance of any of the Full Tilt Pros, finishing 16th for $2685.50. Just missing the final table were Bryan “badbeatninja” Devonshire (9th for $3,275), Batera (10th for $3,275), and what is 7×6 (13th for $2,685.50).

As mentioned earlier, the final table had an impressive wealth of talent. Rex55, Jason “OUEmoKid” Potter, MoormanI, yuvee04, and HTBJabroni64 (aka FishOnTilt) made this final table extremely tough, maybe the toughest we’ll see during FTOPS IX.

yuvee04 was the one who overcame all the skill at the final table and he emerged victorious, banking an impressive $70,412 for his efforts. However, as many know, this wasn’t the last noise he’d make, as he took down Event 15 as well! Congratulations to yuvee04 and everyone who cashed big in this event.

The action was sure to be fast paced heading into Wednesday’s FTOPS Event #17. The format for this event was 6-max NL Hold’em with rebuys, and featured a $1,000,000 guarantee. With a $300+$22 buyin, the 1,059 entries ponied up 2,239 rebuys and 727 add-ons, making the final prize pool an impressive $1,207,500.

The final three tables were loaded with big names, including ChipSteela, eisenhower1, Luke “IWEARGOGGLES” Staudenmaier, the ever-dangerous Chris “MoormanI” Moorman, and top online and live pro Kevin “BeL0WaB0Ve” Saul (GetPWN3D on Full Tilt). The Full Tilt red pros also had a strong showing, with Ram Vaswani and Nick Schulman both making the final two tables.

Headed into the final table, IWEARGOGGLES held the chip lead, followed by MishkaT. IWEARGOGGLES ended up going out in 3rd place leaving MishkaT and Kevin Saul heads up. After a long battle, MishkaT ended up with the win and a whopping $251,763.75 payday.

Saul ended up taking home $167,842.50 for his 2nd place finish, continuing an incredible recent hot streak. He recently finished 4th in FTOPS Event #12 for $105,000 and also won Full Tilt’s $40K guaranteed $163 buyin tournament for $15,938.
